Manchester United co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe has met with fans over ticket pricing concerns following his decision to raise them this season.

During a meeting with the Fans' Advisory Board, concerns were raised about further increases in ticket prices after Ratcliffe opted to inflate costs in the middle of the 2024-25 campaign. Some seats have increased to a fixed price of £66 and concessions have been binned, leading to questions regarding another potential hike for season tickets next term.

Ratcliffe has maintained that he is keen to free up funds for first-team spending but that has meant nearly 250 members of staff across Carrington have lost their jobs, with more redundancies in the works. Tensions between fans and INEOS have worsened due to the cuts and the reports the meeting this week has allowed INEOS chief to take the views of fans into account before making a decision on whether to approve another increase.
