At least 43 arrests were made by French police and three people were injured by a car as partying took the streets in the aftermath of Paris Saint-Germain's victory over Arsenal which booked their place in the Champions League final.

Supporters took to the streets to celebrate PSG's triumph which set up a final against Inter at the end of May. However, one person was left in critical condition and two more hospitalised when they were hit by a car near the Champs Elysee, with police saying the circumstances are being investigated.
WHAT THE POLICE SAID
Paris police chief Laurent Nunez said: "The atmosphere began in a festive manner. And then, as usual, we had small groups of people with very bad intentions who attacked law enforcement and then attempted to cause damage."
