Canada Soccer has announced the appointment of Grammy-winning producer Boi-1da as its first-ever "national teams music ambassador." The renowned hitmaker, known for his collaborations with global superstars, will oversee a new program called "Perfect Pitch" that aims to produce a World Cup-themed album. The initiative not only aims to create a unique soundtrack for Canada's World Cup journey but also to support grassroots soccer development through the proceeds generated from the album.
“Music and sports share an undeniable synergy — both have the power to ignite passion, bring people together, and create unforgettable moments,” said Jerry Deifer, Infinity Records Head of Label Operations. “Whether it’s the energy of a stadium anthem or the intensity of a locker room playlist, music amplifies the spirit of competition. This collaboration isn't just about soundtracking the game; it's about building culture, driving engagement, and inspiring the next generation of athletes and fans alike.”
