In a thrilling encounter at Audi Field, D.C. United's Jacob Murrell scored a breathtaking bicycle kick in the 96th minute to secure a 2-2 draw against Chicago Fire.
The 20-year-old rookie's acrobatic effort capped off a remarkable comeback for the home side, who had been trailing 2-1 with just 20 minutes left.
That was thanks to a brace from Chicago Fire star Hugo Cuypers after Christian Benteke scored an early goal for D.C. United. However, the Belgian had a chance to double his tally but missed a great chance in the final moments of the game.
But his blushes were sparred as a stunning effort from Murrell in the final minute of added time ensured that his side walked away with a draw.
