The Red Dragons managed to snap up the former Manchester City player who is a graduate from the club's academy. However, he never managed to play for Manchester City's first team and joined Salford after departing the Premier League winners in January 2022. Bolton made 92 appearances for the Karl Robinson-led squad over the course of the following two years, chipping in with 15 assists and six goals.

The Red Dragons had to make two bids to Salford City as they saw their earlier offer swiftly turned down by the club owned by Manchester United's 'Class of 1992' including Paul Scholes and Gary Neville. Bolton's addition will be a major one for Phil Parkinson as he looks to win promotion to League One.
WHAT NEXT FOR BOLTON?
The youngster could very well have his first taste of action with the Red Dragons against the side he just left as they play Salford City next up on Saturday, February 3.
