In the 79th minute, Shaw took a free kick that deflected off the China PR defensive wall, however, after a bit of pinball in the box, the ball ended at her feet. She took aim, fired home and instantly celebrated with the entire squad as she net her second-ever international goal.

Shaw is going to be an important player for the USWNT over the next decade, and is looking to earn her first-ever major tournament roster spot in the upcoming Olympics. With two goals in four appearances now, she could well be on her way to Paris already.
