Switzerland coach Pia Sundhage has named her latest squad and there is once again no room for Lehmann. The Juventus star also missed April's games against France and Iceland and is once more on the sidelines for the national team. The news means Lehmann looks to be facing a battle to force her way into the squad for Euro 2025 which will take place this summer in Switzerland.

Lehmann has been part of the Juventus squad that won the Serie A title this season and the Italian Women's Cup, making 16 league appearances in the league for the Turin side. According to Blick, she has been overlooked by Switzerland due to her lack of regular game time and recent injury problems. However, Sundhage has apparently made it clear this is not her final squad for Euro 2025 and the door is still open for those players who have missed out this time around.
