Porto have agreed personal terms with Kiwior, who is ready to pen an initial five-year deal. The Liga Portugal side are looking to sign the defender on a season-long loan deal with an obligation to buy next summer. According to the , Porto arranged for a private jet to fly down Kiwior to Portugal to complete the transfer, but the Gunners cancelled the trip on Tuesday.

Kiwior's transfer hinges on whether the Gunners can secure Hincapie, who has agreed to sign a long-term deal with the Premier League club. Arsenal are eyeing an initial loan move for the defender, with an obligation to buy next summer. However, Leverkusen are not agreeing to the move unless their defender's release clause of £52 million (€60m/$70m) is triggered.
