The forward is gathering interest in England as his future in France becomes murky
Paris Saint-Germain could look to sell or loan out Neymar this summer despite the player preferring to remain with the club, GOAL understands.
Neymar wants to avoid a transfer saga that could distract him from his 2022 World Cup preparations, and he feels settled in the French capital.
However, with talk of his availability swirling, Premier League clubs are now informally checking in with PSG about a potential deal. No official negotiations have been opened yet.
An alternative to England would be Spain, where his former club Barcelona reside, but their financial woes likely make it impossible to sign him.
GOAL takes a look at which Premier League sides Neymar would fit best, and alternatively, where it wouldn't make sense for him to land.

Chelsea have made clear their interest in adding firepower to their attack, as they're aggressively pursuing Raheem Sterling and Raphinha after agreeing a loan to send Romelu Lukaku back to Inter.
Their new ownership group led by Todd Boehly wants to make an impression on the team and appears ready to spend.
Blues centre-back Thiago Silva, an international team-mate of Neymar, has openly called for Neymar to come to Stamford Bridge.
"He has to go to Chelsea," Silva told . "If he is about to leave [PSG], then he must go there.
"If it happens, then the expectation is the best possible one. We don't even need to talk about Neymar's ability. Besides that, he is a super friend.
"I hope this happens instead of only being something on the news, but I don't know anything about it."
With all of that in mind, Neymar, who previously played under Thomas Tuchel at PSG, seems like he would be a fit at Chelsea.
His wages though could remain an obstacle and it's unclear whether that side of the equation will put the Blues off his trail.

The only club GOAL has confirmed holds interest in Neymar is the Magpies, who have gained wealth this year under new management and are eager to add star names to their organisation.
Yet Neymar is uninterested in their project at this time, GOAL understands, so it would likely take a dramatic change in perspective for a deal to get done here.
Still, it's worth noting that Newcastle have been building out their Brazilian contingent, with Joelinton and Bruno Guimaraes already in the fold and Lucas Paqueta rumoured to be a target.

Any time a player of Neymar's calibre becomes available, Manchester City are bound to be mentioned as a potential option.
Departing captain Fernandinho, another international team-mate of Neymar, can certainly vouch for the positive experience of playing under Pep Guardiola, and perhaps Neymar will want to link up with the coach having just missed him at Barcelona.
However, with Erling Haaland, Julian Alvarez and more joining the club this summer at substantial cost, it appears far-fetched Man City would want to add more wages to an already crowded attack.
Not impossible, but unlikely.

From Angel Di Maria to Paul Pogba, expensive global superstars have become an obsession at Old Trafford since the departure of Sir Alex Ferguson.
It's also clear that the Red Devils are open to adding at least one more attacker this summer, as GOAL has reported that they hold interest in Ajax's Antony.
The new era of Erik ten Hag seems different than previous reigns however, with the objective seeming to be a stronger emphasis on player development rather than overpaying for ready made products.
Without Champions League football to offer, it just wouldn't make much sense for Neymar to join Manchester United at this stage.
