Manchester United are gearing up to face Lyon in a two-legged quarter-final in the Europa League. Ahead of meeting the French club in an away game in the first leg this Thursday, Red Devils players trained at Carrington and manager Amorim was spotted overseeing the training session from almost 150 metres away from his players. The Portuguese coach stood behind a fence and kept an eye on the United players who went through some of the rondos on the pitch.

The English giants have endured a nightmare journey in the 2024-25 campaign, as they are likely to finish outside the top 10 teams in the Premier League. They will now aim to give their all in the Europa League, as it remains the only tournament where the club can salvage some pride in an otherwise disappointing campaign.
