The German goalkeeper has rarely featured for Pep Guardiola's team since joining, given the prominence of his team-mate Ederson between the sticks.
Despite Ortega's limited role, he seemed in good spirits with the fans after perhaps enjoying a few beers, and is always ready when called upon, with the 3-2 win against Red Star Belgrade in the Champions League being his last appearance for the club.
WHAT NEXT FOR CITY?
Ortega and his team-mates will now be getting ready for another title race as we approach the new year, after City were able to climb to third in the Premier League table following their win against Sheffield United on Saturday.
An FA Cup clash against Huddersfield Town is next for the club, with a tough trip to Newcastle United also on the horizon.
