Earlier this week, Saka picked up a serious injury that is set to keep out Arsenal’s star man out for weeks. Gunners boss Mikel Arteta has already been concerned regarding the options that he possesses in attack with Kai Havertz and Gabriel Martinelli struggling and Raheem Sterling also out injured. As such, Arsenal have been looking at options this winter tranfer window with a striker their main need in January.

As per The Telegraph, Arsenal have earmarked Wolves striker Cunha as their main target in January as Arteta’s side are said to be impressed with the Brazilian. The 25-year-old has been a lone shining star in what has been a dull Wolves side, bagging ten goals and four assists in 18 Premier League matches.

However, a January swoop is said to be unlikely as Wolves are fighting to stay in the Premier League this season and they are unlikely to allow a key star to leave the club as they battle for survival. Additionally, Cunha has two and a half years left on his deal at Molineux and Wolves will have major leverage, if Arsenal approach them to sign the Brazilian.
