Barcelona boss Hansi Flick has given his honest reaction to Fermin Lopez's goal and sending off in his dramatic cameo against Sevilla.

Lopez came on at half-time and made it 2-1 within minutes of the restart. However, he was then sent off just after the hour mark for a reckless challenge on Djibril Sow. Despite that, manager Flick didn't lay into his "intense" midfielder, and believes he can learn from the red card.

He said after the win: "Fermín's goal is very important. He is a very intense player and these things happen. It is also a good lesson for him. It will serve him well in the future."
THE BIGGER PICTURE
Barca went on to win the game 4-1 despite being down to 10 men for nearly half an hour. While Lopez is now set to serve a ban, the Blaugrana are now just two points behind La Liga leaders Real Madrid after looking out of the title race not long ago.
