Lamine Yamal has revealed the challenges he has set himself for 2025 after enjoying a brilliant year with Barcelona and Spain.

The 17-year-old had a year to remember for club and country but the Barca ace is clearly hungry for more success in 2025. He wants to win the Champions League and bag more goal contributions too, with his current stats for the first-team standing at 13 goals and 21 assists in 72 games.

He told Barca One: “This year, the collective titles were missing at Barca, which is what excites me the most, but we will try to win the League, Cup, Champions, and everything we can. I need to score more goals. I have improved a lot in assists, so that is my challenge."
THE BIGGER PICTURE
Yamal enjoyed a breakout 2024, starring for Barcelona, helping Spain win this summer's European Championships, and bagging the Kopa Trophy at this year's Ballon d'Or. And it seems he has set his sights on getting even better in 2025.
