Spanish television program El Chiringuito has now revealed that there was a lot of inquisition in the Real Madrid dressing room after their disappointing loss, with Uruguayan midfielder Federico Valverde leading the talk in the dressing room about how Los Blancos can stage a comeback against Arsenal in the second leg at Santiago Bernabeu.
WHAT HAS BEEN SAID
As per El Chiringuito, Valverde claimed that Real Madrid players failed to react after conceding two free-kick goals from Real Madrid, as he said: "Two free kicks and we don't react."
The comment from the Uruguayan prompted Los Blancos star Vinicius Junior, Jude Bellingham and Kylian Mbappe, who talked about how they can mount a comeback against Arsenal in the second leg: "We have to prove that we are Real Madrid, we have 15 champions," one of the four players apparently said as the dressing room fell silent. "We have to score in the first fifteen minutes. If we do that, we'll come back."
